I've been moving further and further left every year.  I was once pretty far to the right.

Socially I've gradually moved a bit downward, but I've always been below the middle line.

How do you survive in Louisiana? O_O

I feel some of these questions could have been worded better.

Ask me about being an elitist jerk

Time for hype

Some of these issues are so divisive, I'd like a middle option as I don't agree nor disagree with some of the points in there. This won't be very accurate on my part but I'll give it a go anyway.

Edit;

Yeah, not too accurate for me, some of the issues are either too devisive or not relevant to my domestic situation and as such may produce a different result than it would with another, Norwegian centric measure. I mostly side with the right wing here in Norway, but I am truly very personally divided by the libertarian/authoratorian decision in real life, it is largely situational for me to be honest.

That they should offer non-violent resistance and not resist the holocaust?

I think it's very naïve, but it entirely in keeping with his well known views.

It's beyond naïve. It's imbecilic. He was fortunate enough to have an enemy as fundamentally decent as the British, who could be shamed into not fighting. That he thought the Jews could use the same tactics as he did when they already offered up pitifully little resistance and were slaughtered anyway is stupid to the point of being scandalous.

They're not evil views though, just absurdly naive.

After a point, what's even the difference? As Orwell pointed out, Gandhi's view that all western nations should lay down their arms and simply let the fascists rape and pillage them at will is objectively pro-fascist.

Actually he argued rather then nonviolently resist the holocaust what they should do is activly help the holocaust as a protest in nonviolent resistance.

He argues that the Jews should of "Thrown themselves from the cliffs into the seas as a massive protest" in an act of mass suicide.

Ghandi is really a lot more interesting a person then people make him out to be.

For example

"Among the many misdeeds of British rule in India, history will look upon the Act depriving a whole nation of arms as the blackest."

Which at first seems kinda bizarre... considering you know.  Nonviolent resistance.  Why the is robbing peopel of guns the blackest thing you could do to a country when you think guns should never be used?

Also interseting... is that while he critisized the Jews for resisiting the holocaust and not killing themselves.

He did NOT critisize the arabs for their violent attacks on the Jewish people.

"I am not defending the Arab excesses. I wish they had chosen the way of non-violence in resisting what they rightly regarded as an unwarrantable encroachment upon their country. But according to the accepted canons of right and wrong, nothing can be said against the Arab resistance in the face of overwhelming odds."

There is some evidence to Ghandi being anti-semitic, a fairly large anti-semtic jewish population and his own grandson somewhat hint to it.

Although on the otherhand it could of just been poltitcal pandering to try and keep the Muslims of India happy and not go off and form their own country.

Ether way, Gahndi the poltician was pretty hypocritical.
