The site wasn't trying to use American politics as the basis for the questions. If you read about why they chose the questions, they explain why they chose them - as many of them relate to international political views through history, rather than to a specific country at a specific time... Even if its a strange question, like abstract art.

I guess I should have been more specific: All except Nordic countries plus a few more (the UK, Germany, among others) makes politics out of the weirdest things.




Think i drifted upwords a bit.  Likely due to my time in Las Vegas and seeing just how awful a place it is to where questions like "Good parents may have to spank there kids" suddenly doesn't sound completely unreasonable.

 

Also probably doesn't help that I  think some criminals fundamentally can't be rehibilitated because quite literally they can't be.  What with Sociopaths and the like.
