I was just kidding by the way. Having the conference at any time has about 0 effect on anything. People are still going to watch are broadcast no matter where they are.

Indeed. And they announced The Last of Us, Uncharted 2/3 at the VGAs too, so it's not everything about E3! |

I thought the Sony and Microsoft conferences were just as good as eachother, and were better than Nintendo's. Actually, I'm not even sure, I don't remember the Nintendo conference.

sorry but some of us have been enjoying HD consoles for up to 6 years now....
OT: can't wait to get more info on Dust 514, Last of Us, and games for Vita

Microsoft conferences have never been equal to Sony in consistency. Their conferences are heavily third party multiplats with either a staggeringly low amount of exclusives or too many casual games. Sony makes too many exclusives so they never break their level of expectation. Nintendo needs to balance their games between the titles for people who have grown up with them (25+ years) or the people and the newcomers. When it comes to expecting internal games Microsoft is the one to expect to be the weakest. Microsoft's strongest E3 was in 2008 when they took Tekken and Final Fantasy exclusivity from Sony. They want Sonys fanbase, but can they make enough games to support them? Thats the question. It's not good to have three crappy E3's in a row.

I'm very interested in multiplatform games though, I like how there were many playable demos shown at E3. Looking back, I did think SONY's conference was better, but it's far from their best. I still remember watching E3 for the first time in 2009, I thought SONY's conference was amazing.
