I thought the Sony and Microsoft conferences were just as good as eachother, and were better than Nintendo's. Actually, I'm not even sure, I don't remember the Nintendo conference.

Microsoft conferences have never been equal to Sony in consistency. Their conferences are heavily third party multiplats with either a staggeringly low amount of exclusives or too many casual games. Sony makes too many exclusives so they never break their level of expectation. Nintendo needs to balance their games between the titles for people who have grown up with them (25+ years) or the people and the newcomers. When it comes to expecting internal games Microsoft is the one to expect to be the weakest. Microsoft's strongest E3 was in 2008 when they took Tekken and Final Fantasy exclusivity from Sony.

I'm very interested in multiplatform games though, I like how there were many playable demos shown at E3. Looking back, I did think SONY's conference was better, but it's far from their best. I still remember watching E3 for the first time in 2009, I thought SONY's conference was amazing.
