i didnt insult him, he claims to be an expert but in reality hes nobody as a writer and really nobody cares about him as a reviewer (maybe almost)
he used his opinion as fact
and made his argument pointless

my opinion is Oot has aged well and is still a top game today
back then was the best

end of the story

Oh the irony and contradictions in the same sentence.

Everyone's entitled to his own opinion, your is valid as is his own opinion. Trying to belitlle someone's position only serves to undermine your own position and opinion, because it only makes you look like you have no argument to hold against his thus your need for personal jabs and attacks.

You know how your post would have been amazing, correct and basically the right thing to do? If you had started with the "My opinion is..." paragraph, because that paragraph is right.

Be careful when you use the word fact because that sentence couldn't be further from being factual than it already is. If anything, that only proves your determination to undermine him and insult him, which will get you a much deserved report that could lead to a warning and/or ban.

And I find it rather odd that you, a person who has only created an account here in VGC 4 days ago is so determined to do an Ad Hominem attack on him when supposedly you don't know him from squat. Am I probably smelling an alt account?

Have I got you guys beat? Because I had....the dishonor....of having in my collection.......Little Red Hood on the NES. I cannot add any more hate for this game than the AVGN did in his review, so I'd just say, check his review out for it.

Closer to the now period? I'd say Age of Empires 3 (Heck, I felt more of the Age of Empires vibe from the series spinoff, Age of Mythology, than I did this game) and Skyward Sword (I got through the first dungeon and didn't find the motivation to go any further. To date, this is the first Zelda game I've played since I started with the original back in 1990, that the 'don't feel like it' thing has hit me).

I put Ocarina of Time in the same category as Final Fantasy 7 and Super Mario 64. By that I mean, my favourites were earlier titles in the series because of their depth and gameplay (Link to the Past, FF6 and Mario 3 respectively), but since it was their first portrayal into 3D, I gave them a pass for it. don't get me wrong, I'm not saying they're bad, I'm just saying they felt like a part-step backwards in terms of gameplay and substance when compared to some earlier titles in the series.

My #1 favorite game of all time is Final Fantasy VI.

my #3 favorite game of all time is Link to the Past

And Mario Brothers 3 and Super MArio World are tied for somewhere inside my top 10.  so I totally know how you feel.  That said, I adored Final Fantasy VII (it's like, #6 on my all time list), and I Feel that the only aspect of it that hasn't aged well are the graphics, and those are hit or miss.  some are hideous, some are gorgeous.  I don't give Ocarina the same love becuase I felt it was a decrease in quality.  I felt that 3D actually made Zelda a touch less appealing becuase of the level design and the fact that the controls were clunky.

all this was better in 2d or the 3d transition was a step backwards thing is getting really annoying
Zelda oot and Super mario 64 were miles ahead of their older brothers as stated by every major media and expert in the world.
u r not a reliable source

Starfox Adventures.
They look a great franchise and turned it into pretty mediocrity. :(

Starwing was awful
Starfox was great fun but short and simple
Starfoz Adventure is the best in the series

if two games are a great frachise one of the two being awful
and releasing a pretty good adventure means turning it into mediocrity, i must be mentally ill ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,or u might be WRONG!

but it was.  game developers had mastered the arts of programming when it came to a 2D plane, so the controls were fluid and the gameplay very, very good.  when they made that transition to 3D, they had to learn all sorts of new things, and with it came all sorts of problems.  The first step in 3D was a step behind 2D; though the dimension is no longer an issue, in the first steps it was. people tended to ignore this or let it slide becuase it was new and special, and the added dimension wowed people.  Now that we can look back on the games of yesteryear, we can objectively see that this is true, nostalgia be damned.
