Besides, I have some questions about DLCs on your end :

- I tried the bonus map 23 (vs Paris) but I couldn't withstand the ennemy offensive (my wall got breach on the left). How many of you actually managed to clear that and how? Same goes for paid DLC diffculty 4 to 5 (I haven't retried in while but diff. 4 looked already quite punitive)

- The DLC schedule seems on hold in Europe. No word on anything beyond Hot Spring and bonus map & characters stopped coming. Currently there's nothing else than bonus map 18 and Nintendo France doesn't communicate on that either. When did America receive 19 to 23? Was it long after the game was released?

It's wrong, because there is a logical error. The avatar's first statement contradicts the avatar's second and third statement, because it displays the knowledge that Minerva is female. The conversation would make sense, if the first statement didn't contain a mention of gender.

You're right. In the B support in Japanese, MyUnit comes up with a list of female wyverns thinking that Minerva is male. Cherche then points out that Minerva is female and that the list doesn't fit. In the A support, MyUnit is back with the correct list (male wyverns).

Are you sure that in your version it says "male" instead of "mate"?

I just played the game and my avatar says "I've assembled an extensive dossier on prospective wyvern mates."

Yes, I am sure. I hit the R button when I first read the conversation to give it a second look, because I thought I might have misread.

Besides, it's not like the words for "male" and "mate" are similar in German. However, your post could explain how this mistranslation came to be. Sounds plausible that the translator read "mates" as "males" and then didn't notice that it doesn't make sense in the context of the conversation.

So we chalk this one up to poor translation? I thought we were past that, unless you're Capcom ofcourse.

I've also come across a couple of spelling errors. It's nothing too bad in the grand scheme of things and the occasional mistake slips through in games with huge amounts of text.

Capcom has had some legendary errors. It's still baffling that there was a file dated on November 31st in Resident Evil Zero and that every translator just ran with it.

Indeed, even Revelations has a load of errors (bean instead of been, for example). Nothing along the lines of "master of unlocking" or "I am Error" though.

In other news, I've convinced three people to buy this game, and I'm pretty sure only one of them has ever owned a Fire Emblem before.

And I have another friend who says that it makes him want to buy a 3DS, but I wouldn't put too much stock in that statement 'cause he's flat broke.

Welp I'm off to Mexico, sadly I won't get to touch Future Past 3 until the 29th cause finding free Wi-Fi is gonna be a bit tough. Least I'll pick up Future Past 2 in the airport before I depart.

I think I can get my third file beaten on Lunatic before I get back if my class doesn't take too much time.

I am a fire emblem virgin, so i am playing the game with permanent death off. How do people finish the game without chucking your 3DS on the floor? If i lost my sumia, panne and anna permanently i would just stop playing the game altogether :(
I am having a great time though even though i am still learning the intricacies of the game. Well done Nintendo
