A CRT monitor? The sanctions are clearly working.

No, I'm actually being serious. Now you have to play that game for 1 hour straight.

I agreed.

Hype-o-meter, from least to most hyped: the Last Story, Twisted Metal, Mass Effect 3, Final Fantasy XIII-2, Final Fantasy Versus XIII, Playstation ViTA
bet with Mordred11 that Rage will look better on Xbox 360.

I only skimmed through your post I have to admit. You are right, that seems to be a gaming-habit of germans. I don't think it's bad, if people like that (I can't get that myself, why a game that simulates work?), than the game does what is intended.
I found the game I was talking about at Amazon, it got 5-star-reviews: http://www.amazon.de/Astragon-Landwirtschafts-Simulator-2012-3D/dp/B006GQPXSG/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1334098445&sr=8-1
I still have that monitor sitting in the basement. Better a tractor simulator then a killing simulator.
And it still looks more exciting then Ship Simulator.
On the ship simulator forum:
Please can you help I just bought the game and it is working good until it comes to any of the ships i put her full steam ahead but she doesnt move (titanic)
Two points here. 1. Are you sure she is not aground? 2. A big ship like "Titanic" takes some time to start moving even with her engines on full ahead. It's not like a motor car, this is a huge lump of steel.
At 30 FPS and Ahead Full, Titanic takes about 30 seconds to indicate any SOG. She takes about 2 ½ minutes to move one ship length.
At lower frame rates it takes much longer.
This is normal behavior in SS 2008.
It will be a while until you get to the nearest iceberg.

You can kill be with tractors... somehow.
I just am sad for the youth of North Korea, that their video game time consists of driving a virtual tractor. That, in their future, they will probably drive for a living (if they are lucky and don't starve).
