Hummm... I can't get to excited about this... they should just make another game for their players and not a game that will not sell to players like me^^ (I like Nintendo Games... but they should stick to their turf to sell games to me ;P)

I so want a sequel of that game. Way more cars, way more maps, unlockables and online play. Cruisn World was so fun.
I trust Nintendo not doing a boring game as a racing sim.
Cruisin World style would be great, though but I don't know if that would sell.
While I personally do not like racing sims, I wouldn't be against Nintendo publishing one, it is a gap in most Nintendo platform's libraries after all

I think this is great news, it shows Nintendo is willing to branch out.

Nintendo isn't known for having games that where realistic and that's why people loves them.
Bet with gooch_destroyer, he wins if FFX and FFX-2 will be at $40 each for the vita. I win if it dont

Little Big (Mario?) Racer? Project (Mario?) C.A.R.S.? Ninty copying competitors confirmed!
As many pointed out, without real life cars it isn't a true competitor to GT and Forza, but it looks like an interesting (although not original) idea anyway.
I never have been a fan of racing sims.
Arcade racers all the way!

I'm not a fan of this kind of game, but I also wouldn't be that surprised to see Nintendo produce one ...
If I was in charge of Nintendo, in the wake of the Wii I would have focused on creating or buying development studios to create high quality "core" games (mostly) because you couldn't count on third party publishers to take your platform seriously. While it doesn't sound like a lot of games, if Nintendo added 3 to 6 games to their line-up every year it would make them far less dependent on third party publishers to attract certain gamers.
