Doesn't Call of Duty use the R2, L2, R3, and L3 buttons? How do you translate those controls over tho the Vita?

If they get over that problem, I suspect they'll just make a version of CoD 9 for the Vita, and that it will sell a couple million units lifetime. Better than the Wii CoDs do, but still far worse than the HD twins.

Call me an optimist, but I think people are willing to pay for this game on the go, even without proper multiplayer anywhere.

The backside touch pad?

Yeah I dont think it'll sell as much as people would expect it to sell. Hopefully we'll get more info at E3.

I just do not see this game being that big even on the Vita. Maybe 500,000 copies if they are lucky is my prediction. Some games people just want to play on a big screen. But maybe I am wrong.

Grand Theft Auto did great on the PSP. Nowhere near the console versions, but still great. Half a million copies strikes me as low.

I agree. It'll sell this first week, or at least very close to that. Maybe more.

I really think it will be a new title. Why wouldn't it be closer to the launch window if it was just a port. Developers rave over the ease of development. They would be able to pop out a port or remake in no time. Plus Actiblizzard wants to sell a bunch of copies, being a unique title will help that and increase Vita sales, leading to even more copies being sold. Why would they risk releasing a simple port at this point in the game when the user base is so small?

Before the PS3 everyone was nice to me :(

It all just depends. Call of Duty: Roads to Victory sold 2 million on the PSP, which given the PSP's general software sales, it did quite well.

Does anybody have any gameplay of that? I been looking on Youtube forever.

I don't know about this one. I doubt it will do very much. CoD already has the userbase cemented on the PS3 & 360. I don't see them playing on the Vita at this point in time. Surely, it would do modestly. It does have the CoD name after all.

If a Vita port could achieve 1 - 2 million sales it would most likely be considered worthwhile. But Vita's userbase is so small that may be difficult to achieve that in the near future.

Its worth testing the water and could be Vita's best selling game.

Did someone say 500k+ first week? LOL

As much as I love the Vita, that figure is just a pipe dream to be honest.

150k-300k at the most first week worldwide if it gets released this winter.

Lifetime sales I can see it be around 2-3 million unless they make it a annual release.

What's so unusual about a 500k first week for COD?

COD PS3 did 210 first week... in japan! So if this could do at least 50k (and it can) there, it could do 300k in usa and 150k in europe easily.

It'll be a huge flop if Vita's greatest software does not sell,well... great. 150k FW would be a huge failure imo. A case of declaring vita dead, asap. Just imagine... if COD does 150fw... what bioshock will do? 30k?

I don't know what I want... If it's black ops 2 it could have cross plattform multiplayer with PS3 but on the other side it would be nice to have a unique COD game for psvita.
