Morgan Freeman has been trying to get David Fincher to do it for years. I think it would be fine in Nolan's hands after watching Interstellar

The criticism of Interstellar compared to Gravity is a bit weird indeed.
IMDB movie goers are more reliable. Gravity meta 95, IMDB 8.0. Interstellar meta 73, IMDB 9.0. Her meta 90, IMDB 8.1. Inception meta 74, IMDB 8.8.

first time I hear about it..sounds interesting maybe spielberg wants it since he skipped interstellar..

on tomatomater interstellar critics 74, audience 88.

a day or two before Interstellar I rewatched gravity.. I gave it 8/10 the first time but now its a 6/10 it really wasnt interesting watching it again..and why is gravity sci fi ? its action drama in space. nolan has right now 6 movies in IMDBs top 250 list only 3 movies behind Hitchcock and 2 behind Kubrick. if interstellar stays above 8.1 and it should thats 7 movies lol

Good read thanks. That's my guess as well, I think they felt they needed to move the story along towards a happy ending. It could easily have become a near 3 hour epic with another elaborate time struggle in the third act. It's a bit of a let down though after all that big build up. I was hoping it would up the ante towards the end like Inception. Still great fun for the first 90 minutes.

I watched the Rosetta comet landing this evening. Very cool. Hard to believe the thing was launched 10 years ago already. Too bad they didn't send a camera man ahead to film the landing :p And a billion euro lander deserves some better looking cgi. The pictures looked nice anyway, people were excited, science is being done, bunch more comet missions are planned. There's still hope I'll see a moon or mars base in my life time.

Good to know.  Its a great movie but its not a movie you want to watch often like Schindler's List, or The Elephant Man.
