Dreams....crushed...=(

Metallicube said: Bleh, pretty big lull in sales all around, well I guess with the exception of the PS3, but part of the reason its sales are actually decent is because of it being available in more countries. Think we need some new consoles soon..
The only reason why Coke sells more than Pepsi is... because it sells more!
So not fair. Let's all take a moment of silence.
Conegamer said: I expected more from Graces. I'm sure the localization of the Wii version would have been worthwhile, another 80-100k... And Vita still dropping hard, below 100k now. Sony needs to do something very soon- it's already below Wii in the US...
I'm surprised that you expected more. Vesperia and Symphonia 2 didn't even sell half of what Graces did (1st weeks numbers only, if those numbers are accurate).
Over 100k in the US alone is very good for a Tales game IMO.
2012 - Top 3 [so far]

Just to be clear... if Mass Effect PS3 numbers here are accurate, that means ToG sold less than 50k?
Like 200%+ overtracked?
@VGKing
It didn't sell horribly or anything like that and you bring up a valid point, perhaps it sold a lot better through online than in brick and morter stores
Still that being said I'm confident were looking at a situation similar to Catherine, where VG seems convinced an incredibly niche Japanese game can do well in the states. In fact I find it strange as well that they think it outsold Mario Party 9's launch week.

I would expect a game like Mario Party 9 to sell considerably better in-store than online though. Catherine is more niche and that's usually the kind of game that sees stronger online sales I would assume.

Resident Evil isn't a heavy hitter? Are you kidding me?
It's one of the few 3rd party mega franchises in Japan besides Monter Hunter and Final Fantasy.
Dark_Feanor said: 360 sales are totaly fine. I still think it might be a little undertracked in Europe and Latin America. Japan is a wasteland for Microsoft, alone is responsable for 50% PS3 WW gap. But anyway it is in a far more confortable situation than the Wii. No way they would rush the NextBox releasy only because of those numbers.
Pretty much everything is a little undertracked in Europe dude. It's the hardest region to track. That's why its always the last chart to go up on VgChartz.

Erm... isn't Japan always coming up later than Europe?
