Why is that though?
It will probably be PS4, but if not I'd like them to drop the name Playstation altogether. I've never liked it. While I have gotten accustomed to the name I still think it makes it sound like a child's toy. I mean it almost rhymes with play thing. I've always like the consoles names with more character like Sega's. Genesis, Saturn, Dreamcast all sound unique. Playstation sound generic to me. If Sony wants generic I'd actually prefer something even more generic like Sony Entertainment System (SES) or Sony Entertainment Console (SEC) or something like that. I don't know though, naming a gaming machine must be the most difficult part of marketing.

Seriously though, it's just going to be called 'Play'. Think about it.
Without a doubt its going to be called Playstation 4, At this point it wouldn't make sense to have it any other way. If the Japanese have a problem with the number 4 then i would think that Sony would have figured out some way to improvise the name for its Japanese audience, but i highly doubt that number is so controversial there, i mean was was the title of Yakuza 4 in Japan?
