ok ok ok. sony copies.

but at least they make it better than the original.

Sorry but the PSP was much better than the vita! :P

Please just stop talking.

I don't know if the :P didn't give it away, but I was obviously joking. However I do right now view the PSP as an awesome device.

Ah, I thought it was the "Im talking shit" wink. :D

They are both great devices, and I don't know if you own a vita or not, but when I hold that thing...it's probably the most well designed console I've played right next to the wii. The design is just fantastic. I don't want to seem like a raging fanboy right now, but even with only owning a couple games, I genuinely feel like it's the most well made console I've ever played, overall.

I at least think it's on the level of product as snes, ps2, and wii.

When I bought a PS3, I was in heaven, but I still felt there were some things that could've been better. Of course, the way I felt about naysayers was that their criticisms were "overlookable". They were still there, but easily overlooked. With this system, there's no complaint that I could even consider to be well founded ASIDE from battery life...I would call that the only "overlookable" portion.

So, sorry for doing the whole "SDF" thing on ya :D I'm just extremely enthusiastic about the system.

I also think the dsi should've gotten one of those awards.

The Wii, DS, and the upcoming Wii U should all win the awards. The DS was the first to market Touch screens and it also had that all new clamshell design with two screens, the Wii was the first to market motion control and is the most succesful, the Wii U's controller conept is very intriguing and can be used in compliment with the games on the big screen.

I see nothing wrong with what he said, he's talking about bringing those things to gaming/the mainstream gaming audience. 100% correct

the awards in question aren't secluded to gaming but technology as a whole...

Doesn't change the fact that the bolded statements are correct. Besides, I was being rather generous with my statement. The fact is Nintendo showed great innovation with those products, even when looking at the technology industry as a whole. It'd be ridiculous of you to argue otherwise.

Innovation =/= popularization

Go back too bed granny!

OT: oh ok, nice I guess :P

You take that back!

I was joking, you know I love you… and your moobs

Besides the idea of back touchpad, the Vita is very appealing to me. (I guess I need more time with it I been told).

Haha, can't have a thread about Sony doing well without somebody trying to ruin the party.

Or with any company for that matter.

The attacker never realizes when others suffer until they get attacked

Nice, Vita is a high quality product, looks cheap for 250 euros really.

Dude, Nintendo wasnt the first one to market motion controls. Nintendo saw the success of Eyetoy on the PS2 and made a whole new console out of the concept. Otherwise, if Nintendo brought a hardcore console like PS3 and 360, they wouldve still been in the position like they were with the GameCube. And please don't bring motion technology of 90's consoles, those were niche products wich nobody bought them. Eyetoy was bought by millions of people. Even the commercials of the Wii are the same as the Eyetoy: family playing together, an old lady interacting in front of the Eyetoy etc.

I didn't read every post in here for obvious reasons, but how the hell did you get this entire paragraph out of that one sentence? Did I miss something? Seems very random and out of place.

EDIT: I saw his post. It was really misinformed but you shouldn't keep stiring the pot here, just let it die.

Anyway, congratulations for Sony and the Vita - Well deserved.

Not bad. But it's not hugely 'innovative'. It just strikes me as loads of different control mechanisms thrown together on one system with a load of oomph.

Is it a quality system? Yes, definitely. But not original, or innovative.

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

Play around with one for a while, then talk.
