If you want to think about it in a weird sort of way, you weren't wrong because no one called you out on it. Why? Because they could have done the same thing as you, offered up their seat, however they would have been seen as a hypocrite at that point, and a fourth grade argument will ensue.

By "No one called you out on it" I mean in a similar regard to say, stealing, it's not a crime unless you get caught. So if no one told you "Dude, give up your seat to the old lady man." You're good.

But yeah, offering up your seat would have been nice of you. Since you missed out on looking like a badass today, try the next time you're on a bus and offering the first old lady your seat to make up for today.

You weren't, like somebody pointed out, the front of the bus is designated for disabled seats and for the elderly. If you were sitting at the back then you should have been the last person on that bus to offer her your seat.

You should have eventually offered her your seat, but I understand the awkwardness.

The fact that you acknowledged your slight wrong doing and that you were thinking about what you were doing is what matters.
