Would be amazing if all 3 consoles hit 100M.

without a doubt! Wanna bet!? :D |
Nahh, it is very possible it'll get 80m+...maybe 80-90?

90m at least, i think sony could potentially push the ps3 up against the Wii U and Nextbox up till 2015 in which case i think it will definitely be 100+. All of the consoles this generation have been a success, but in the case of the ps3 you gotta weigh up the impressive sales with the fact that sony was making a lost off the 1st 30-40m units sold, their gonna support it as long as they can and regain their losses.
Awesome news!
Looks like next up is either X360 or PSP.
The PS3 is the 5th highest selling home console of all time.
NES is still better :)

You should congratulate me. I destroyed the vile red falcon and saved the universe. I consider myself a hero.
PS3 and any other console that makes or passes this bench mark deserves every bit of adulation it gets for doing so, but PS2 and the NES can't be rivaled.
the 2 consoles were stacked with every possible genre you could think of for their time on the market, and that's what made their milestones better then any that came after.
congrats to PS3, 360, and the Wii for toping the original and its milestone, that many before, and after, could only hope to achieve.
my PS3-360 projections for yr. ending 2012 are 75m high end as has been previously stated.
2015 will see PS3 reach 90m sold ww.
Awesome. It'll keep going to about 90m.
e=mc^2
