Not sure if it will or not, but I seem to remember that Ken Kutaragi predicted the PS3 would sell 100 million units. It'd be crazy if he was right.

 

MS did as well! When they hit 50m a year or so ago.

When its all said and done this generation of homeconsoles will sell close to 300 million? Whoa, thats almost 100million growth.

ya shouldn't be too hard.

110mil Wii
90-100mil PS3
85-90mil 360
= 285-300mil consoles, and thats me assuming the wii U seriously affects the 360 in America, otherwise all three consoles have a shot of getting over 100mil, expecially if next gen consoles have a slow start like the 360/ps3 did this gen.

crazy growth this gen. Hopefully next gen can keep up.
