twice the launch and 1.5 times the total is a bit much

I am going out on a limb and I am going to say Killzone 2. I think both pass 2 million though.

So the general concensus is Resistance 2, why is everyone saying that killzone 2 is going to massively boost hardware then?

Because the general consensus is not K2, just in this thread. Killzone2 is a rumored 60million dollar game, a playable level was demoed and had its own press event. It has some of the most impressive visuals we have seen on any game and we have not even seen a screenshot of Resistance 2.

It is of course possible that they fuck Killzone2 up and Insomniac has already proven that they can produce great games but seriously at the moment K2 has much more attention and rightly so

I think quality wise Killzone 2 will be just as good, if not better, but since you asked for sales I think Resistance 2 will sell more.

 Although I think R: FOM2 will sell more, I am looking more forward to Killzone 2.

After the recent R2 announcements then R2 by a land slide..

Resistance 2, probably by more than 1 million copies. Killzone had a hard time on the PS2, so I see no reason why Killzone 2 should have an easy one on PS3.
Killzone 2, to me, is like WiiFit to Wii; able to sell quite a lot but nothing sensational or overly important to the overall hardware sales.
And I even own Killzone myself... (which is why I have this opinion)

Resistance 2 will have halo 2 like sales, I garuntee it guys this is halo all over again but on the ps3.

@zach blue its not quite halo yet. Maybe if resistance 2 lives up to expectations then maybe but not yet by the way, kinda weird how i made this thread the day before resistance 2 was unveiled and made everyone fall in love with it
