I went to my topics and out of curiosity clicked the column header to sort by post count so I could see the biggest threads. Since then, the hot topics page is always defaulted to order by number of posts and I always have to click the 'last post' header to get it to sort correctly.

How in the world do I get it to go back to normal?

Same thing happened to me, even by clicking to sort by last posted then saving, it wanted to go back.

Not sure if there is a proper solution, I just deleted history over the past hour and it was fixed.

Browser history? I tried refreshing cache, but maybe it set some stupid cookie. Why? Why would you save a damn cookie for a simple sort option used randomly?

clear the cache/cookie and it should work. Common issue.

Its not common sense. Its bad web design.

It should work by the default action, always.

Hot Topics should always sort by date... that's kinda the point and if there is some sort of memorization feature, it should have a setting somewhere or again, go with last used sort option.

I shouldn't have to reset my browser to make it work right, ever.

I merely said that a lot of people, including myself, have had this problem with the current VGC version.
