A Pokémon tournament in the UK was marred by a disgusting incident at the players' hotel, it has been alleged.
Spanish gamers were found throwing their own excrement at each other, according to a number of supposed insiders talking to Nintendo Life.
Meanwhile, PokéChamp21 wrote on the Pokémon World forums: "After 30 [to] 40 [minutes] in my room relaxing with a quick snooze I awoke to the sound of banging coming from down the hall from where the 'Spanish Team' were staying in.
"It seems that at some point after they had turned up and when we went to a Wetherspoons the Spaniards had decided to have a 'Poo' fight in the corridor and this had upset the staff and several guests (naturally) at the hotel enough to call the police and have them leave."
However, no official representative has yet come forward to verify the claims.
The Pokémon Video Game Championships took place in Birmingham last weekend, with teams from across Europe competing.
