Better than expected, not anything amazing though. Great Europe sales, it's being promoted well over here (UK), saw 2 billboards for it on my 15 minute bus journey to get Uncharted:GA, and it was all over the place in the shopping centre.

great news, and Europe always loves Sony

there were many ads in UK, and in UEFA football too

don't mind my username, that was more than 10 years ago, I'm a different person now, amazing how people change ^_^

A good start, now Sony just has to prove they can keep the ball rolling.

Looking back PSP launch figures in USA and Europe were amazing

Graph looks misleading. 1.1m vs 1.24m = ~12% difference

The graph makes it look like more than a 50% difference.

Probably more than many expected after all the doom talk.
Pretty good so far. Next weeks will surely be more interesting though.

I made a new graph lol lol lol .

I didn't realise Japan was added at first so I was like "Damn, 1.1m!?". Still a good opening though.

it would look doomier if it went from 1.09 to 1.35. make it happen!

Fairly happy with the launch numbers. Could've been better with more marketing, however it done well despite all the negative articles and hate on the Internet. Really think its gonna follow the same pattern as the 3ds .. Good initial sales, followed by a steady decline, and a price drop at gamescom for the holiday period.
