2007 - A tie between Mass Effect and Super Mario Galaxy
2008 - A tie between Hellgate: London and Persona 4
2009 - Dissidia: Final Fantasy
2010 - Demon's Souls
2011 - Dark Souls

Edit: I was hesitant to add it at first, but **** it, I loved Hellgate: London to pieces, I had a ton of fun with that game, even with all of it's limitations and technical problems. The amount of time alone that I put in it and the huge amount of characters I made qualify it for my personal GOTY of 2008 on par with Persona 4.
