Will if Billy cannot keep you awake maybe The Dictator can?

a german speaking sandra bullock was enough haha

I am surprised you guys have it live even where you are at!

Also I am happy for Hugo! Done well, hopefully this will bring its profits up a bit.

@Man bear

Maybe Hugo will be the one with 9 awards! ;)

i always wonder when seeing an american show like grammy or oscar if there is advertisement every 10 minutes or so? because here we get a break then as well but with our own advertisement but i thought you have pay-tv there and there is much more advertisement than we have in private tv without to pay for that.

same with super bowl can't believe there is so much advertisment in the game.

there is a reason guy laliberte became a billionaire with that^^

My favorite person of the evening is Olivia Spencer. Those short clips from "The Help" already convinced me that she deserved an Oscar. Now please give her good screenplays and don't let her disappear like Hattie McDaniel.

Also: Robert Downey Jr. & Ben Stiller are dwarves.

Wow Hugo is dominating. It was my favorite movie last year but for some reason I didn't think it would win so many awards even though it is the most nominated. I still think The Artist will take it but we'll see.

Please Watch/Share this video so it gets shown in Hollywood.

I was rooting for Plummer or Nolte. Plummer won, I 'm starting to like the show.

Harry Potter has no chances with all those old geezers voting >:(

she looked like she could need something to eat...when she was speaking hear cheeks transformed in a deep crater^^

I am glad to see Hugo winning awards.
The Artist, a silent film in black and white. 80 years too late!

IMHO the best films released in any year rarely win the critical awards they deserve. Slow paced dramas generally win academy awards.

it's not 80 years too late! it's a great film and  it has to be in black and white! like shindlers list or so has to be as well (and of course many photos are much better in black and white as well)

and bad because it'S a silent film? that's what it makes it so great because the acting is totally different then which makes it a totally different and great experience. (and if you know what the movie is about it has to be silent lol)
