Be sure to buy Resident Evil: Revelations, even if you are not interested on it haha.
Why don't you make like a tree and get out of here?

I find the circle pad extremely comfortable and usable for fighting games. I love playing SFIV online on my 3ds. It also has Tekken and Dead or Alive.
The 3DS is ergonomic and rarely ever feels uncomfortable.
I also thoroughly enjoyed Super Mario 3D Land. I'm looking forward to Kid Icarus (It has an insane multiplayer mode), Mario Tennis open (to play competitively online) and Super Smash Bros 3D (Official but no date yet).
Lots of people on VGChartz are playing Mario Kart tournaments on Fridays and Saturdays see my Sig's CatchUp thread for the link.
It's affordable. If you're worried about battery length, for one you can shut the 3ds off completely using the power button. That avoids wasting battery on background processes. There is also a Nyko add-on I think that doubles the battery life and makes the system more ergonomic. The circle-pad pro boosts battery life too, but I'm not 100% sure about this.
Lots of us chat and draw things on swap-note, it's a fun drawing/text mail system included in the 3DS. There are regular 3D Video broadcasts to watch, and the e-shop has new software by the week.
Resident Evil: Revelations has quite a following online.
3DS is shaping to be the best gaming device of all time - if you're into japanese games, that is.
Don't believe me?
(first the big guns)
- Super Mario 3D Land - Brilliant game, genius level design.
- Super Mario Kart - you can't get more fun than this game, simply addicting.
- Resident Evil Revelations - Full resident evil game on a portable, never before that happened. Never played 5, but considered to be better than it.
- Monster Hunter 3G - Never played the psp games, but it can't get that popular for nothing. Can't wait for this version.
- Monster Hunter 4 - Simply megaton of the year - if not of all time ( I mean it). This game is going to explode 3DS sales.
- Professor Layton - The next installment in the epic series. If you like puzzles this is simply the best.
- Professor Layton vs Phoenix Wright - Oh. My. God. Fan service at its best!
- Final Fantasy Theatherhythm - Nostalgia + kick ass rhythm game.
- Dragon Quest - It's only logical that the series continue on 3DS with its amazing games.
- Bravely Default - Expect a thread from me about this game. Not kidding, this is probably my most hyped game of this gen.
- Animal Crossing - God damn, Nintendo - here's my soul. Again!
- Kid Icarus - Great single player. 3rd person Smash Bros multiplayer. Sakuaragi-san love child, can't go wrong.
- Metal Gear 3D - Simply the best version of the best Metal Gear Solid.
- 2D Mario - Best gameplay of all games. Period.
- Kingdom Hearts 3D - Jesus, can't write anymore, so many epic games!!!
- Paper Mario 3D- I'm really crying now in emotion....
- Luigi's Mansion 2 - God dammit Nintendo! No more!!!
AND this + Tales of the Abyss (I still need to play) + Street Fighter 4 (best fighting game this gen) + Zelda Ocarina of Time Remake (best game of all time) + Star Fox (epic epic game) + Tekken + Dead r Alive + Harvest Moon + Pokemon Gray + Nintendogs (amazing game on DS, have to play this new version) + Sonic Generations (lovely game, old sonic FTW) + lots of games released and (probably) to be announced (like the teased Zelda, Metroids, Final Fantasy Remakes)
*breaths*
And this is only THIS year. And only for Japanese Games. And there's a lot of games I forgot.
Probably the best year of all time for anything. Not kidding.
If this doesn't convince you, it convinced me a long time ago!
EDIT: POKEMON BLACK AND WHITE 2!
in U.S and U.K 3DS Can AD.HOC .plus you have one friends code that is for all games

That's not true. The 3D works however the programers make it work. Plenty of games have 3D elements that pop out of the screen. Some of the puzzles from street pass have 3D elements that pop out.
On topic Resident Evil Revelations is one of the best games I've ever played. I would say it's on par with RE 4.
I can't convince you to get a 3DS. I just sold mine for $200. Wait until 2013 when the price drops below $150 and Paper Mario, Luigi's Mansion, Bravely Default and all those other good games are out.

In a way, you're both right. True, on PS3 and 360, you can log in with multiple accounts on one system or use the same created account on a different system. That's where you're right. Rol is right if you take the PSV (PSP didn't have an ID system) into account. On that system, it's just one account per device. Of course, you can use the same account as your PS3 if you choose. One advantage with the 3DS is that you can change your name at any time. Not too bad if you ask me. One guy said having one account per system sounded disasterous. Both Sony and Nintendo seem to think alike when it comes to portables. One account and one account only.
@sperrico87 How did you get that much for it? It's costs $170.
Plus Paper Mario and Luigi's Mansion 2 are coming this year. The 3DS is already at a great price. A $20 difference shouldn't change that, and why $20? Most price cuts are deeper than that.
