I will have to go with Orioles vs Nationals. That is my dream W.S match up at this time.

I'll probably pull for the Orioles or Oakland.  The Nationals deserve to fail for shutting down Strasburg.

Its good to see the nationals have the best record in baseball on a 80 million dollar payroll. I said back in April that we would be going places, I still predict a world series birth, hopefully a worlds series win.

So the playoff picture as it stands today:

N.L. Wildcard: Cardinals @ Braves

N.L.D.S.: Giants @ Reds, Cardinals/Braves @ Nationals

A.L. Wildcard: Orioles @ A's Rangers

A.L.D.S.: Tigers @ A's, Orioles/Rangers @ Yankees

 

Should be some good matchups. It's obvious which AL team I'm pulling for, but ideally I'd like to face the Nationals in the Series. Be nice to say hi to Gio and Kurt again!

I'm pulling for the Cardinals, exclusively because you're a fan, but it really does seem like an uphill battle. Of course, it's just one game, so heavens knows anything can happen. I'm also seriously pulling for the Orioles, but Saunders v. Darvish isn't as favorable a matchup as I'd like.

This Wild Card thing is really exciting I think. Anyone know which channel the Braves/Cardinals will be on today?

I honestly believe with 100% confidence that the A's will advance to the ALDS. Not as sure about the Orioles, though.

Teasing, of course. I'm not sure either team makes it to the ALCS, but if they do I'd give the A's the edge. Hometown bias there, though.

As for which channel the game is on, I believe both games are on TBS today.
