Sadly I usually buy batteries from the dollar store, so this will not affect me too much. Unless the technology is cheap. 8 AA batteries for a dollar anyone?

To replace lithium ion batteries. Not batteries for your gameboy

If he was smart and cared about the environment like he claims then he would have rechargeable AA and AAA batteries.

I went to school for 6 years for the environment. It can pay me back with the money I save on crappy batteries at the dollar store. Plus I turn all used batteries in.

Actually, you don't save shit and are wasting money.  I buy AA rechargeable Energizer batteries that last well over 1-2 years before they go bad.

can't wait till this is viable.

means gaming laptops will be more viable.

From the sound of this, it doesn't really sound like a viable battery technology in its current form ...

Stop saying viable everyone

Hmmm... Viable?

That is a viable option.
