So I assume you think the N64 and the GC did fine?
And don't even get me started in the Wii. It sold because of motion controls and there's no point on denying that.

Making profit is what makes it fine not being on top/last while loosing billions
Sure it was motion on Wii but that wasn’t 3rd party now was it?

Oh man, you talk some amount of waffle. Well done on derailing the thread completely.

Why don’t you instead of complaining, be a better boy and add to the discussion then?

I'll just take that as you admitting I am right since now you decide to shift the focus of our conversation to financials.
That is obviously where you and I differ. You actually care if these companies make money. I only care about whether or not I continue to get games.

haha no, i just don't like too keep on arguing for too long
Of course I care if they make a profit or not. If they go away then they can’t make games I want to play + continue innovate and move game entertainment foreword in terms of interface

In my one sentence, I have added more than you have done in the whole thread. Take your stealth trolling and defensive comments elsewhere.
OT: I am glad sony have a MH coming to the vita, it should push sales in japan regardless if a port or not.

Trolling? Sorry but I’m no troll but your welcome to interoperate whatever you read the way it suits your head
You better call the troll whisperer then
OT: I still think it’s sad that Sony needs to have MH to sell the Vita (in Japan at least)

I hear ya, we are obviously at a point where we realize we aren't going to see 100% eye to eye on this subject.
Also, I think that sometimes it is good to geta good swift kick in the ass like Sony did this generation since it caused them to really bolster up their 1st party efforts and emerge as a real top set of studios. Should do real well for them moving forward hopefully.
Also, it is debatable that failure was what drove Nintendo to innovate with the Wii, so don't always wish for constant success, it could end up stagnating things if there isn't a motivational kick in the ass every once in a while.

@Roma
Idc how u can put "OT" then say what u said? How is that on topic? It seems like you're trolling tbh.
Sony doesn't need MH alone to succeed, although there's no denying that it would help. It needs Japanese-oriented games in general. It was foolish for Sony to focus on releasing Vita in Japan first, bc it has an incredible, even unprecedented - launch lineup for EUROPE/U.S. taste, NOT for Japanese taste. This is the main problem in Japan right now from my perspective, not simply MH. A future price cut will help as well, one of the major things 3DS needed as well to be successful.
There's no purpose in ur MH comment unless ure a Ninty fanboy with distaste for Sony. If it isn't the case, then u make it seem otherwise.
