Forums - Sony - Monster Hunter Vita in a "few months"

Mmm maybe it's the same HD version that came out for PS3 not too long ago. I really want to be familiar with the saga but I'm so lost, there are many many remakes with differents names and whatnots.

3DS FC :  4339 - 3326 - 7693. Add me :) Nickname Tin

Anyone else think Sony is opening themselves up to bribery by relying on a single title?

that's what i think exactly

MH3 is pretty big, but it's a 10m seller that is going to sell the systems on it's own

don't mind my username, that was more than 10 years ago, I'm a different person now, amazing how people change ^_^

So, when this title release in Japan and the sales numbers comes in people will finally realize how deep shit Vita is in?

I'm hoping for great sales, just not expecting.

Their gonna need more than MH to survive this generation.

True, but in Japan Monster Hunter alone (almost) kept the PSP alive. Great sales are supposed to be expected.

Yeah that is true but you have to consider the amount of piracy that the PSP suffered from (which was one of the main reasons why they made a 2000 and 3000 series PSP).

Yeah, well... The Vita will probably have less piracy, thus increasing sales.

Thing is 3DS had monster Hunter during the holiday period....creating a huge boost.

If this guy is to be believed, the Vita will get MH in May-August. High profile games in non holiday months wont have such a lasting boost.

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

it pathetic that they need 3rd party games to stay afloat

    R.I.P Mr Iwata :'(

So did the 3DS at first. If it weren't for Capcom and Ubisoft's offerings, the 3DS would have had nothing worth playing except for N64 remakes until last November. Not to mention how, other than Pushmo and some 3D classics, the eShop relies on 3rd party hits like Mutant Mudds and VVVVVV.

Much needed

The magic box already had a story on this. A game magazine in Hong Kong had an article on Monster Hunter Portable 3G coming december 2012. However it is apparently actually for the PSP and just has some extra features on the PS Vita. So by the sounds of it won't feature all the graphical improvements you might expect of a vita game.

If the rumour is true it should cause a reasonable rise in PS Vita sales. At the same time it will be the third version of Monster Hunter Tri to exist. Kinda hard to judge how many people will buy it after it has been available for Wii and 3DS for so long. Not to mention if it's also on PSP then it's difficult to say if people would buy a new system for a slightly upgraded version.

Turkish says and I'm allowed to quote that: Uncharted 3 and God Of War 3 look better than Unreal Engine 4 games will or the tech demo does. Also the Naughty Dog PS3 ENGINE PLAYS better than the UE4 ENGINE.
