Yeah I've already sunk over 150 hours into XIII-2 (it pays to speak Japanese when you have my tastes in gaming, haha, though my tastes in gaming somewhat came from Japan (I lived there for a while too) so go figure) & I highly recommend that as your next game, before 3D dot game heroes again.

I'm jealous!
If I was to play a game 150 hours that would take half a year! O.O

If I end up liking FF13 I'll definitely look into 13-2 also.

Your so lucky you can read and speak Japanese! :O

Yeah. :)

And it's not even that difficult as a lot of people seem to believe.

You just shouldn't learn it only to be able to play games. It's a great motivation, but it shouldn't be the main reason (in my opinion).

I can agree on that^^

and enjoy FFXIII and FFXIII-2 I am on my scond playthough of the Japanse Version of FFXIII-2 right now i is awesome game^^

Is it actually that easy? How long did it take you to learn?

Well, you never stop to learn. ;)
I learned Japanese for 4 years at university (and only 2 or 3 years of that were regular courses, the rest was practice, practice, practice). I'm married to a Japanese woman, so I used Japanese on a daily basis for over 10 years now. (We're married for 9 years and 1 month now.)

And it's easy if you're dedicated and really interested.

Of course "easy" is relative. Some might have a harder time than others.

Hopefully I will have a easier time with it! ^_^"

Congrats on almost 10 years with your wife!

Thanks! This year we have our 10th anniversary, the first big one. Now what to plan for that...

On another note: Judging from your posts, you're a bright kid. You shouldn't have many problems learning another language. A little hint: The sooner you start the easier it will be.

Haha! Thank you! I'm not sure if I can start we have no Japanese teachers in this town and I find that the internet isn't very helpful. I have some Asian Friends but they don't know any Japanese. :(

but I wish I was around Japanese all the time like you it is the best practice^^
