Wp7.5 is slick as hell. I have a first gen LG Quantum and its speedy as heck. But the non-dual core support in new phones is a big deal. Mango added a lot of awesome features, and the battery life on my Quantum is really great, especially compared to many Androids. However, WP7 hardware is just now entering 2011 while everybody else is in 2012. That isn't a big deal to me, but the margin on my Snapdragon 1ghz must have been quite high, a fact I'm sure MS is using (rightfully so) to push their hardware. Simply put WP7 preforms way better than Android on similar HW. However tha app gap is major. Want Pandora? Well there are some poor buggy 3rd party apps for it. Want Google apps? Stick to Android or iOS unless you want to use even more poor 3rd party apps. One of my big frustrations on my Quantum has to do with Google not "seeing" mail I check on my phone as having been opened. Instead it shows up as new mail when I check it on my PC. If you want to game on your phone, and many don't- but many do- go with iOS or perhaps a higher end Android. I'm very satisfied with WP7.5, and I'll consider it again, but since I'm about 7 months out from a new contract phone I'll be looking very hard at all my options, and Google and Apple haven't stood still either. Different strokes, different folks. I'll miss Live tiles if I leave though.

BTW, if selnor has any interest in not coming off as a "pure" MS fan, it might behoove him to not post one sided topics like this again... one can hope at least. Oh well back to Alan Wake PC.
