People love to overreact. I mean people declared the Wii dead as soon as it's name was announced. Calling a console dead is silly anyway. Even the Dreamcast wasn't dead until it had completely stopped being sold. The Vita just has a slow birth lol

However I still stand by my point and have yet to see anyone refute it. With the current situation and unless there are some big titles announced for this year, then I can see the entire year for the Vita being incredibly tough in Japan. Like I said so far we know of almost no big titles confirmed for this year and it is very unlikely Sony could afford a price drop. It needs one of those two to perform well this year.

When it eventually gets a price drop or big titles then of course it will start selling. The question is simply when will those things happen? As it is they aren't in the near future.

Wonder how long it'll be until everything that isn't the 3DS drops below 20k.

I think most people got used to that when the Wii was outselling the PS3 and 360 all those Weeks, so long ago.

When the Wii was outselling PS360 it was opposite, the only real new gen console outsold the two last gen consoles.

alrighty people, break it up.  I'd prefer not to lock a sales thread because it turned into a war of who can troll the hardest while still staying just on this side of something worth moderating.

Sony just need to wait another 6 years untill 3ds reaches market saturation in Japan then people will have no alternative but to buy the PSV just like PSP has sold well since everyone had a DS.

Lol, exactly.  Not sure what the point of that post really was.  How much does he expect the PS2 to be selling as it approaches its 12th year on the market?

i'll fess up that i predicted that pre-launch.  but in my defense that was also before monster hunter tri-G and 4 was announcement for 3DS.  huuuge blow to sony.  obviously only software can save the vita now ... wonder if we'll ever see that killer game for vita.  now i love sony's first party but there is no denying that their first party doesn't sell as well as nintendo's or MS's.   ... bleak days ahead my friend.

Hey I never said stop with what you are doing, I don't really care. I just said you were more annoying as a moral person who takes everything to seriously to me than the persons you were annoyed by.  Just like you are speaking out to them I can speak out to you however. I apparently cared enough for that. We should both know it's time wasted though, but it seems you like to do what you do and I like to do what I do, so maybe it isn't.
