LMAO at your tabs

OT: If this gets passed the internet (including this site) will be pretty well useless.

I have super AIDS, you insensitive fuck. Do you find my affliction funny? Reported.

Please, I hope a sort of variation to the PIPA passes, that way even those who illegally download anything get f.....ked hard. I honestly don't see how people support the internet in the disgusting state it's at. Pirate's bay, black cat, etc are just havens among many others for piracy to continue. It would be nice seeing people getting some severe punishment for a change :).

Make games, not war (that goes for ridiculous fanboys)

I may be the next Maelstorm or not, you be the judge http://videogamesgrow.blogspot.com/  hopefully I can be more of an asset than a fanboy to VGC hehe.

I hope this fails to pass. The more people we put out of work the more my money is worth.

So which of the big media companies are paying you to think this way? Far more people will be put out of work under SOPA/PIPA than under current levels of piracy. Do you want to watch Silicon Valley move right out of the country because we're no longer a worthwhile place in which to do cyber-business?

Why would I need to be persuade to see this way? Big buisness has made up its mind. The pawns mean nothing to them. They can come from any place in the world. Non of them could care less how much its employees have done for them. The bottom line, and charts are all that matters, and charts mandate zero piracy. They will do what ever they think they need to do to make charts look good.

If this passes they will be happy and stick around for a while, if it fails they will get out of here asap. Thats the mind set of big buisness. For good or bad it is what it is.

Stop hate, let others live the life they were given. Everyone has their problems, and no one should have to feel ashamed for the way they were born. Be proud of who you are, encourage others to be proud of themselves. Learn, research, absorb everything around you. Nothing is meaningless, a purpose is placed on everything no matter how you perceive it. Discover how to love, and share that love with everything that you encounter. Help make existence a beautiful thing.

Yes, but you can't escape piracy. Where are they going to go to get away from copyright infringement? Europe where judges have decreed on EU level that legislation like SOPA would be illegal, Sweden where the pirate bay is from? A 2nd world country where piracy is the bigger problem?

If Sopa passes, businesses will leave. Internet businesses. But the crybaby big media companies have nowhere to go, at least vis-a-vis copyright infringement

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

I was just about to ask why it wasn't blocked for me, turns out I was blocking wikimedia with NoScript so the pages were viewing as normal to me.

Guess it wasn't a real blackout, though it will at least get the word out.

I'd sure love to see the storm if Facebook was blacked out for a day, pretty sure it won't happen but it would be fun to get everyones reactions (it would probably be front-page news across most of the globe)

Aye, and Facebook should be shouting this from the rooftops, because they would have to increase their expenses exponentially to police all links as vigorously as the laws would mandate. I know i get a feed for One Piece fans that directly links to download sites for free subbed episodes, and i imagine there are countless others doing things that would blatantly or even marginally be in violation of SOPA, so Facebook would either have to ban the use of hyperlinks (essentially killing the sharing function) or hire a whole horde of people to become internal police.

@TWRoO

can't quote here with my phone :(

the wikipedia blackout was front page news in my german newspaper today and german language is not even blacked out!

so I think even without facebook the whole world will take notice but yeah facebook would hit the people much more personally.

I have the feeling half of my friends use facebook like 24/7, write something and they all reply in 5 minutes lol

how would they all rage getting a black screen haha

Wikipedia being against is a huge thing, now if only youtube and facebook react as well...

and the stop button does the job but is still annoying, completely stopping Wikipedia could affect many people, especially those studying : P

and if the prices of some products were more sensible, maybe that could help stop piracy, you simply can't go out and buy every single movie or series you want to see on your pc, let alone that some cannot even be found the way you want it

if SOPA keeps on, it will affect the industry in a more negetive way I believe.....

don't mind my username, that was more than 10 years ago, I'm a different person now, amazing how people change ^_^
