I hope this fails to pass. The more people we put out of work the more my money is worth.

So which of the big media companies are paying you to think this way? Far more people will be put out of work under SOPA/PIPA than under current levels of piracy. Do you want to watch Silicon Valley move right out of the country because we're no longer a worthwhile place in which to do cyber-business?

Why would I need to be persuade to see this way? Big buisness has made up its mind. The pawns mean nothing to them. They can come from any place in the world. Non of them could care less how much its employees have done for them. The bottom line, and charts are all that matters, and charts mandate zero piracy. They will do what ever they think they need to do to make charts look good.

If this passes they will be happy and stick around for a while, if it fails they will get out of here asap. Thats the mind set of big buisness. For good or bad it is what it is.

Yes, but you can't escape piracy. Where are they going to go to get away from copyright infringement? Europe where judges have decreed on EU level that legislation like SOPA would be illegal, Sweden where the pirate bay is from? A 2nd world country where piracy is the bigger problem?

If Sopa passes, businesses will leave. Internet businesses. But the crybaby big media companies have nowhere to go, at least vis-a-vis copyright infringement
