When we are going to look back 10 years from now, I doubt the PS3 will have many classics associated to it. The gamecube however, had lots of unique classics that are fantastic games today, and 10 years from now:
A small list:
Metroid Prime - a game so incredibly well designed, Retro will probably never make anything better.
Resident Evil (RE:make)
Resident Evil 4
Wind Waker - some flaws in design with too many fetch-quests, but by far the most beautiful Zelda game, and the graphics will never get dated
Pikmin
Viewtiful Joe - Henshin-a-go-go, baby!
F-Zero GX (a forgotten gem imo)
Eternal Darkness
Soul Calibur 2 (wipes the floor with the sequels)
Super Smash Bros Melee
I really dont see a lot of PS3 exclusive games that people will play 10 years from now, LBP maybe, people keep bringing up uncharted, but uncharted uses a game design that will make it hopelessly outdated 10 years from now (all games that try to be like movies get into this problem, they become dated incredibly quickly).
Just because a game is great right now, doesnt mean it will hold up in the future. Killzone? Please, nobody will play that in the future when there will be 9 million new FPSes that surpass it.
