It's all live-action footage (as in, shot with a video camera), with actors, and then afterwards they put in the CGI-aliens and effects. I mean they even show you the sets and props and actors and everything. And the aliens and added effects are absolutely not in-game graphics at all. Yes, the game could end up looking like that, but right now we have no way of knowing. In fact, I have no idea why the devs would put out such a video anyway, it's just weird. |
Well late in the vid it was showning the computer generation of the street (showing them adding in the windows to the buildings etc) but you could be right.

It looks actually more like Raving Rabbids Gone Bad with 80's style film on 21st century graphics; it's still a little too early to judge, though if I would even like the game. I need to see an actual trailer first

It's just a video of the making of the trailer that was shown when the game was announced. It has nothing to do with the visuals of the game.

O.o @ 3:00...
I noticed that when they first played it at E3. The two aliens having some "fun" time together. The game play was largely created with out the development kit so it should be a lot more polished and optimized. (Graphic wise.)
