Holy cow. MS is really aggressive when it comes to Apps. They are doing an outstanding job to secure the best entertainmet content.

Imagine not having GamePass on your console...

Nice, downloaded 4od and Demand 5, waiting for BBC though.

4oD is nice, but BBC iPlayer (If it comes?) is gonna be the big "Yeeeeey!" for me.

If? It's due sometime in January. I like how the set up is consistant and easy to use across all the channels.

Didn't know if/when it was coming.

Great news. Only just started to use the Sky app, it's brilliant.

i just wish we could get other country content

Well i find all the American apps useless so far the only good one is YouTube and I Heart Radio. other than that everything else sucks.

I love it how smaller countries get nothing... They may been doing a great job in the US and UK. But believe me when you live outside it you almost get nothing... I have now 2 apps ( MUZU and dailymotion). While I think especially in the countries where they don't lead the sales they should put an extra effort into this sort of things.

just downloaded them. now all i want is the bbc iplayer and maybe an itv player

where are you?

I dont think its about effort, its about finance and availability.  Clearly they wont be allowed to offer you the US and Uk TV offerings in your region, it wont be allowed by the suppliers.  It also wont make financial sense to do a deal with smaller nations TV companies (assuming the TV companies are even capable of supplying it) for a few thousand possible adopters.

It's not like xbox doesn't exist here. I live in Belgium so I think they have enough providers for content here. Microsoft Belgium is a rich and big company but instead they don't focus on wp7 or xbox... As an example: in the holiday period I see everyday 1 add for ps3 on the big commercial tv posts and even 5+ for nintendo. In the period september-december I have seen 4 ads for the 360 and 1 for wp7. I mean it's not like we don't know what a smartphone or console is... They just don't market their brands here wich is bad because the ps brand is very strong here. Many people say that it is the europeans that like the ps more from my experience I say it's microsoft's effort that isn't big enough.
