Ask any South Park fan and they'll tell you that Eric Cartman is, uh, opinionated about the Jewish people. The fifth mystery class for Obsidian's South Park: The Game has been revealed as the Jew, joining the Paladin, Wizard, Rogue, and Adventurer classes.

It's bound to upset a few people, we imagine, but that's kinda what South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone do. To expect anything less is, at this point, silly. But be warned: selecting that class is bound to elicit a few negative comments from Cartman.

In the new game, the Jew class is described as being a hybrid between Monk and Paladin. Matt Maclean, lead designer, tells Game Informer the Jew will be "high risk, high reward" and strongest when closest to death.

holy crap that is bold. South Park is used to this kind of controversy though, I wonder if Obsidian will be able to handle it.

This game is sounding better and better as I hear more, they are really taking this seriously

A bit, yeah. Cartman constantly berates Kyle for being Jewish, going so far as to make that his character type when playing a game. I think in the Lord of the RIngs parody episode back in 2002 or so, Kyle was a Jew, Cartman was a wizard, Stan was some sort of paladin, and Kenny was possessing Cartman. The "Jew" class is a natural fit for any game where Cartman plays a major part.
