I thought that was pretty funny too. The Wii has been getting outsold pretty much all year by the PS3 of all consoles (even though it's supposed to be the market leader), and now people are getting excited about it outselling the PS3 by 1,500 copies.

I wouldn't call Just Dance Wii, Kirby and Zelda ''barely any support''. Especially since it's the first Just Dance game in Japan. There's a whole unexploited market for the game.

Has the 360 had better support in Japan than the Wii has this Year? In terms of number of releases?
It has to be fairly close...
Wii really got left for dead. Makes you wonder how the Japanese market will react to Wii U. Will it be a port box of PS3 games or will it have dedicated exclusive support? That PS3 market will be hard for JP Devs to ignore.
But why would better support mean quantity over quality?
I mean the Wii got shafted both in quantity and quality most of the year but I find the holiday lineup to be pretty strong sales-wise.

If 3rd parties don't support the Wii because they don't like Nintendo, then why are they giving the 3DS excellent support?

That's because there are right now 3-4 games worth buying for the Wii.
It doesn't matter that it had a weak year when you enter the holiday period as long as your lineup is currently strong.
