a multiplatform remake for both consoles would be good for business although i doubt 360 fans have yet to play earlier FF games.

Another thing to note (I'm not sure if this has been said here already)...

If SE are so dedicated to getting games onto the 360, then why isn't FFX HD gonna be releasing for MS' console? Why have SE JUST revealed info about a new game, Vita/PS3 exclusive, from the KH/FF Team?

Sony/Squeenix relationship? This generation, it's been rubbish. Squeenix has had a huge hard on for the 360 all generation.

Final Fantasy XIII "betrayal" + Exclusive Western 360 Advertising

It's only now that they're actually starting to show the PS3 some "love", really. Final Fantasy X HD, Final Fantasy XIV and Final Fantasy Versus XIII are the only revealed "exclusives" Square Enix will have made for the PS3 this generation. We're over 5 Years into the PS3's life. One of them is a last gen game. One of them is a port from one of the most disliked games, ever. One of them has been in development now for over 5 Years.

I know the Sony/Square relationship isn't too good right now, when we look at home consoles.

Remake Final Fantasy IX for the 360 marketplace. I hated Final Fantasy 8 and played to much of 7. Also Square Enix still should remake 5 and 6 but those should be on hand held systems.

It's odd that he would say that.

I think Sqenix are thinking hard about the west. Especially US. 360 is so big in US and Sqenix would cut alot of potential buyers out of their market if they didn do 360 in west. Even with no pricecut 360 is still holing well in EMEAA, and absolutely flying in US. imagine a 360 pricecut in March next year. Which is my prediction.
