Now are you actually asking this as a question, or are you using it to illustrate something about the relationship between Sony and Square?

It was rhetorical.
Sony/Squeenix relationship? This generation, it's been rubbish. Squeenix has had a huge hard on for the 360 all generation.
The Last Remnant Exclusive
Star Ocean 4 Exclusive
Infinite Undiscovery Exclusive
Final Fantasy XIII "betrayal" + Exclusive Western 360 Advertising
It's only now that they're actually starting to show the PS3 some "love", really. Final Fantasy X HD, Final Fantasy XIV and Final Fantasy Versus XIII are the only revealed "exclusives" Square Enix will have made for the PS3 this generation. We're over 5 Years into the PS3's life. One of them is a last gen game. One of them is a port from one of the most disliked games, ever. One of them has been in development now for over 5 Years.
I know the Sony/Square relationship isn't too good right now, when we look at home consoles.

In that case, the few exclusives they have announced probably have a lot to do with resource management.
When the FF7 remake is announced as a simultaneous release on Wii U/NextBox/PS4, you will see.

As long as it's not exclusive to 3DS or Vita, Im happy.
