X360 version is technical mess. If you have even decent PC buy TLR for it (it may even have discount during this autumn sale in steam...or christmas sale). As for quality of the game it has pretty mixed reception. Some people love it especially the battle system and some hate it. 


Thanks.  I'll pass on it, then.  There was some other Xbox 360 JRPG that people either loved or hated, too.  I think it came out last year but I can't remember the name of it.  I'll probably grab that instead or I'll just wait until Final Fantasy XIII-2 for my next JRPG fix.

Right...I've started playing the Demo and it seems to be the 360 version,,,not sure how that worked out because I keep seeing the 360 buttons appear on screen...

Yea it really lags during fights but if you install it to your harddrive you get no problems out of it really. though the game has some pretty difficult moments and really is a hate it or love it affair.

I.....still don't have Vanquish.  I don't know what happened.  It was one of my most wanted titles last year along with Enslaved and Hunted (which didn't come out until this year).  I'm a strong supporter of new franchises.  Somehow, it fell off of my radar.  I would have gotten it yesteday with Gamestop's buy two get one free sale on used games but they didn't have the original box.  I'll get it eventually, though.

its because you're supposed to play it with a controller >_>
