Here goes that 250 gb Reach/Fable bundle @ Newegg for $199 with free shipping,http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16868105055&cm_mmc=BF2011_listing-_-688-_-N82E16868105055&nm_mc=BF2011_listing

Actually they have a few other deals but this is the one I think is best.

I LOVE paying for Xbox Live! I also love that my love for it pisses off so many people.

The 360 is gonna blow the competition away. The fact that you can buy in major retailers like Best Buy at Black Friday prices online today is just ripping everything apart. i'm seeing a lot of sold out signs on their website!

BTW, as of 12:13 p.m. EST, Xbox 360 $199 bundle is sold out on Best Buy website, PS3 $199 bundle is still available.....

I'm impressed that they have been able to match some of the door buster sales with online offers. I have a friend who was going to head out on BF morning to Sam's Club for the 250 GB but when I saw the Newegg deal online with free shipping I gave him a call. Needless to say he was stoked and ordered immediately. Online is no joke when you get free shipping and no sales tax. $199 straight up without leaving the house vs. $214.92 and the BF bullshit, that's an official no brainer.

PS3 also had GT5 launch during BF week last year, did that come with bundles?

I'm pretty sure there were some in Canada. Don't recall for US. GT5 actually pulled batshit numbers in Canada first week, like over 200k not including bundles.

Anyway, OT. Really hard to predict this year, particularly for Wii which had Donkey Kong release that week as well. Nintendo boosts during the holidays are always much bigger, but so far this year that doesn't seem to be holding true, at least not in the lead-up to things. Both HD consoles will be available for the magic $200 and we'll probably be seeing huge numbers for both. But then again Wii will be available for $99 for the first time ever if I'm not mistaken. Nintendo will need to claim a YOY victory if they want to even have a hope of getting close to their projection. My prediction:

360: 725k
PS3: 525k
Wii: 675k

:Edit: Actually there were GT5 bundles, but only in Best Buy with the purchase of a Bravia TV.

Well my Wii number looks good depending on how much it sold prior to BF. Like I said, people in this thread majorly underestimated the power of a $99 Wii. Let's wait and see what the other 2 reveal.

:edit: Well based on the site's preview it would appear that I overestimated both PS3 and 360. Let's see how NPD shakes out.

Anyone seriously predicting that 360 will be dramatically ahead of Wii (by like over 200k) are going to be mistaken. This will be the first holiday where Wii is available at a $99 price point. I don't expect it to utterly dominate the holidays like it has in the past but you should still see a very large initial spike relative to its current sales level.

Ouch, over 300k ahead at least

And your point is? You underpredicted Wii by almost 200k. :edit: Actually if we were still using the Americas format it would probably be over 200k.
