I'd get it for PC if my PC wasn't a laughable crap that can't run games.
So yeah, I'd get it for WiiU (But, it is pretty clear it is NOT coming

In simple terms nooo i wouldnt buy skyrim because I dont like RPG's for the simple fact that i dont like games where you have to level up your status and stuff like that. If I had the opportunity to play it at someones house I would give it a jam but Im pretty sure I wont like it. I have never liked any RPG's that ive played so far including Pokemon,Final Fantasy, Fallout and Mass Effect. Didnt like any of them so high probability i wont like Skyrim considering its made by the same people who made Fallout 3 which i absolutely hated. Im sure their are Nintendo fans who will though.

but the WiiU can actually handle it perfectly ,it can even use the controller screen for lots of great things, such as inventory management and conversation picking , i myself am excited to see what they can do with it. |
If there's one thing i've learned in 12 years of Nintendo fandom, it's that third parties like to move goalposts. Sure the excuse now was about a console's power, but remember the GameCube?

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

it might come out, if you don't know, Oblivion came out on consoles when only Xbox 360 was released, then when PS3 got released they Re-released it with a bit of graphical tweaks and the released DLC along with it.
i'd imagine them re-releasing it on WiiU with the DLC that was released, the same way, with exclusive user interface made for the controller, for example having the inventory open on the controller screen, and map and all that, plus there is the touchscreen for easy managment.
As I said in another thread (the one about all the bugs on ps3):
well maybe i'll get the game on pc then.
I was going to get 360 version, then changed mind to ps3 and now both are buggy,
Maybe i'll wait for wii u version, surely by then the game will be major bug free and have better textures.

The gamecube was also less powered for Morrowind, hence why they didn't release it on PS2, believe me its not because they hate nintendo or something, i find that argument to be silly since, as far as most publishers care about, is that they want their game on as bigger crowd as possible, some do it retardedly like try to appeal to the masses (ala try to make it like Call of Duty for example), but thats a different thread all together
the gamecube and PS2 were not enough for morrowind, but the Xbox was , and even that barely was stable,if you've played morrowind on Xbox , then you'd know about the loading times and lots of texture popping.
you should see the PS2 port of Deus Ex , it was really pretty laughable. (btw deus Ex is not related to Elder Scrolls, its a different game, i'm just giving it as an example of a PC game ported to consoles back then)

the bugs on consoles aren't really major , and even if you feel they make the game unplayable, then they will be patched up, so there is really no reason to miss on this game
| Mr Khan said: I was never aware that there was particular grief that Skyrim in particular was not on Nintendo platforms. Nintendo fans (like myself) bear some scorn towards Bethesda and Zenimax as a company for how they have deliberately avoided supporting Nintendo platforms over the years, but that is irrespective of the games they deliver. I fully expect for there to be an excuse when it comes time as to why Skyrim, or any other Bethesda/Zenimax game, can't come to Wii U |
Hey, didn't they publish that super awesome hardcore mature Wii racing game, Wheelspin?
You really shouldn't judge them on that anyway. Even in the heights of the PS and PS2, those 2 consoles only ever got 4 games... All of them some Drag Racing game. They had 100 Million and 150 Million sales respectively, and still couldn't get serious Bethesda support because the hardware wasn't good enough for the vision they had.
You want to know how popular/big those drag racing games were? Take a look at the Wiki for them. Tons of information.
Actually... Before this generation, PS consoles only had 1 game more from them than Nintendo consoles. The Xbox had 3 games from them. That's right. Before this generation, Bethesda treated Nintendo equal to Microsoft in the console market. Bethesda have always done what they think to be best for the games they release. It's why they never released a PS2 version of Morrowind, despite that console being the most successful ever, everywhere (At the time).
If the Wii was a HD console, it would currently have Oblivion, Fallout 3, Fallout: New Vegas and Skyrim. Then again, it probably wouldn't have done as well as it has as a console. The way I see it - Nintendo can't have the best of both worlds. They can't expect to release an under-powered console while the 2 main (and expected to do better in sales) competitors are both blowing them away, power-wise... And then still get the same support as those other 2. Especially when they're targetting a totally different market to what Bethesda make games for.
