They actually scaled up surprisingly good if you ask me.

OoT: 7.6/32=0.23
TP: 20*0,23=4.75, Tp is going to end up at that!

MK64: 9.6/32=0.3
MK:DD: 21*0.3=6.3. Only 0.3 off!

This lines up great! (Note: I'm not saying all games will act like this)

Games don't always scale up because of bigger userbase. Example, Gran Turismo 3 outsold GT4 with a big margin, despite alot smaller userbase...

Galaxy didn't outsell sunshine? What are you talking about? It is outselling it at 1.2:1 in Japan, and that is the only place it isn't still topping the charts! In USA, it is behind. But it is still topping the chartz there! Only second to Wii Play!

Saddler, you can't count for 2 games on one console. The second game on the console almost always sells less, the exception being Halo 2, I can't think of any others.

You need to take account of the superior reviews galaxy got over sunshine. Sunshine was seen as 'the mario game you could afford not to play'.

Brawl - TheSource said prelim. data for Brawl was around 940k FIRST WEEK(like three days). this proves that there are a lot of hardcore gamers who have bought Wiis - not only casuals

I was also curious to notice how many GC conrollers were selling with Brawl... This tells me it was not previous nintendo gamers buying Brawl also... The would have controllers for Melee... I think Nintendo is beginning to not just reach a new audience as far casuals go... I think they are taking the PS2's mainstream gamers who are upgrading now.
