Most annoying errors:

- Confusing lose and loose. Lose means to misplace something in your possession "I hope I don't lose my wallet today"..........Loose is just the opposite of tight "Your mother's vagina is loose because she's had 17 children

- Wrong use of your/you're. Your is to show possession "Is that your car?"......you're is just short for you are "You're a dick if you put your where you're should go"

- Wrong use of there/their/they're. There has many uses such as "She went over there" or "stop right there" ......Their is for possession "That is their car"........They're is short for they are "They're dicks for putting their where there should go".

- Misusing it's/its. It's is short for it is such as "It's a great day for a walk"........its is for possession "That dog is ugly, its fur looks like shit"

- Misusing then/than. Then is to show an order of events "I went to the mall, then the park"......Than is comparing two things "Maserati is much cooler than Toyota"

- Alot isn't a damn word, should be a lot.

Spelling and grammar mistakes doesn't bother me much unless the text is a complete mess and impossible to understand. I'm not exactly the Star of the English language though, so I probably miss some errors.
There are things on the chartz that truly do hurt my valuable braincells, but they have more to do with extreme stubborness, fanaticism and complete logic failure.

I wouldn't say dumber. You're probably just less perceptive. If you start looking for errors again most likely you'll be as good as you were in the past after awhile.

An issue arises in that if you miss errors how do you know you missed them unless someone points it out? You could be dumber and not know it.

That's really the internet, not just this forum. As long as people can be lazy, they will be lazy: it's the american dream.

That said, I'm finding the worst part of the community not to be the apparent lack of English skills, but the complete lack of logic skills. Some of the arguments people make on here are just pants-on-head stupid. I'd use a harsher term but I don't want to get reported again.

I don't. There are certain posters that manage to fuck up the simplest of words. I don't even point them out because they are usually cool people. It's annoying but I don't think it makes me dumber.

I remember that one guy (I remember him being here anyways) that would type without vowels, and use internet shortcuts like "ppl". It was horrible to read what he was typing. I even think someone called him out on it and he went on a rant about how he should type that horribly.

Yeah big time. Thats one reason why I barely post now when I used to be VERY active on the site. But its not the grammer mistakes that are dumb, just some of the users themselves.
