When will the PS3 version of COD outsell its 350 counterpart?

MW3 will sell more on PS3 than 360. 10 5.81%

It has on Xbox 360 aswell though hasnt it? but to put it in perspective the bigger growth than the PS3 version has had.

It took around 10 weeks for Black Ops PS3 to surpass Modern Warfare 2 PS3. It took around 30 weeks for Black ops 360 to surpass Modern Warfare 2 360.

Thats all down to EMEAA, MW2 360 is still ahead of Black Ops 360 in EMEAA, whereas Black Ops PS3 is about 600,000 ahead of MW2 in EMEAA.

I know it seems unlikely but you just look at the growth the PS3 version has had, especially in EMEAA, its gonna steal even more of the Xbox versions sales this year. MW3 will struggle to surpass Black Ops' EMEAA sales on Xbox but the PS3 version will probably pass 5 million.

This time next year i guess MW3s sales will only be around 10-15% higher on Xbox. The PS3 could well be ahead of Xbox worldwide and then it will be very close for the 2012 COD.

Not this call of duty, or the next one, but the one after that when the ps4 and xbox 720 are out.

Theres another reason why the gap will decrease alot, with MW3 the campaign includes levels in England, France, Russia and Germany, theyre trying to appeal more towards Europeans and considering this is where PS3 is more popular its gonna get a big boost from these countries that will benefit the PS3 version far more than the Xbox version.

Not this gen thats for sure. (360 versions selling a solid 2 million more than the ps3 versions)

720/PS4 are at most 2-3 years away............ (thus even if the PS3 continues to close the gap on 360, not all new ps3 owners will be COD/MW fans.)

Next gen it could be a different story though.
