PS3 is a beast !

Around the Network

Gotta love adjustments :) PS3 is a beast!

Great Batman sales, it might not deserve the 95 metascore, but it's a great game and I'm happy that a not shooter/nintendo game is able to sell like this.

Game of the year 2017 so far:

5. Resident Evil VII
4. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
3. Uncharted: The Lost Legacy
2. Horizon Zero Dawn
1. Super Mario Odyssey

Imagine what's going to happen when Uncharted 3 launches......

A little strange all consoles have a increase but the 360.

Even given the performance last week for Forza 4 this movement is strange. Especially in relation to the Wii that had no release but "Just Dance 3" last week.

Man, that's some serious PS3 sales there. I don't think much of that is on Batman AC. Gotta be mostly the seasonal lift. I though 360 would cross 200K this week with America's number, but Japan won't put it over the line.

Just Dance 3 is a real flop except on Wii. My kids loved it on their cousins' Wii, so we'll probably be getting it for PS3 some time. Though only if it's a fairly low price.

Ratchet and Clank number makes me :'(

I think it's proven that in the EMEAA what really moves the PS3 are FIFA / PES or fighting games. Since cross-platform as COD can still overcome the exclusive. GT5Even last year could not have a big impact on hardware sales.

I know it's sad to consider that but it seems that the PS3 has failed to establish anyexclusive franchise large enough for the general public to feel compeled to jump in.

It's because of Forza 4 releasing last week while the % jump is stable. F4 pushed alot hardware in UK and Europe when it released and instead of going down after release, it stabalized at a -2% drop because of the holiday effect kicking in.

On one hand, I can understand the 360 drop - Sales never went down to "normal" levels after Gears 3, recent releases helped sustain high sales, its just that normal sales are finally catching up.

On the other hand... I think we're overestimating the boost Nintendo products are getting from the Holiday boost, despite no new/substantial SW.

I also think were gonna be overtracking the PS3. Those sales look a tad too high for me.

PS3 will do around 300,000 the week uncharted 3 launches at least.

Edit : I see this is 22nd oct nos....then there is still time for uncharted 3 nos to arrive on vgc.

Those PS3 sales o_o just wow. Amazing. What is pushing it so hard in EMEAA? It can't be Batman:AC. I guess holiday season started early.
