Now that its all laid out, its shocking how few move-only games there are - and the majority of these came out at launch. While sony have been supporting wireless/move controller options, its a bit disappointing that they havent tried to make more move-only.

On the positive side, there are a ton of move supporting games coming out within the next few months which is great.

According to Sega, Rise of Nightmares has sold 200,000 copies.

Still believe Kinect sales tracking is inaccurate. Gamasutra said that according to NPD 52% of 360s sold are with Kinect. Most of the time VGC has Kinect Adventures selling between 10% and 15% of 360 sales. That doesn't take into account any standalone Kinect sensor sales. Until this gets more accurate or NPD states that Kinect sales have plummeted compared to non Kinect 360s I have to believe the tracking is dubious.

Well Microsoft hasn't given us any numbers in nearly 8 months.  They even just put out an infographic a couple days ago that used the number from March.  If it has been 52%, that would another 1.6 million sell through with just console bundles in the Americas since that 10 million figure.  Add in standalone sales and Europe and they would probably be approaching 14 million shipped.  So they've either become very shy about giving numbers or there was a huge amount of stock left in the channel at the start of the year.

Also, if I recall correctly, it was 52% of 360's from kinect launch through July.  Not for that specific month.  Which pretty much gels with VGC's numbers.  They have 7,142,866 copies of Kinect Adventures sold and 7,039,047 360's sold in the Americas during that time period.  Remember that during the holidays, Kinect Adventures was selling more than the 360 (4.92 million vs 4.1 million for Nov/Dec).  So if you're arguing that it is still keeping with that 52% rate, then it was probably overtracked last year.  It also wasn't until May that KA fell under 52% of hardware sales, and it wasn't until September that it fell below 15% of hardware sales (barely, 14.4%), and it was over 20% in October.  So I'm not sure where you are getting that most of the time it is 10-15%.

Anyways it will probably all be cleared up next year if Microsoft gives updated numbers.  I assume they will unless it completely bombs this holiday.

Well that number came from  NPD via Gamasutra not Microsoft.  MS other than Kinect 1st 10 million and 360 big milestones hasnt made many sales annoucements.  I believe if sales had plummetted like this indicates then NPD would have mentioned it or it would leak like other nuggets have.  Dropping to 1 in 10 360 sales is with Kinect would have got mentioned.

Its libraries that sell systems not a single game.

Microsoft announced 1 million, 2.5 million, 8 million, and 10 million over roughly four months, and they've been tight lipped the last eight months.  They made plenty of sales announcements until recently.  Like I said, Kinect sales had already fallen presumably.  52% was the average since launch, not for July.  During the holidays it was likely well over 52%, and the holidays also comprise nearly 60% of the sales from November to July (even more if you count the first few months where kinect was still doing more than 52%).  Even if Kinect sales had fallen to zero in July it wouldn't have had a huge impact on the percentage.

Using VGC numbers, the 360 sold 6,723,495 units from the Kinect launch to June.  In July it sold 315,552 units.  If we only look at console bundles, that would be 3,496,217 Kinects using the 52%.  So then if we go into July saying there were zero Kinect bundles sold that would bring the percentage down to 49.7%.  If we use the same 3.5 million number for November to June combined with VGC's July numbers for Kinect it would bring the percentage down to 51.4%.  As you can see, low sales mid year would have a very small effect on that percentage.

In that same Gamasutra article the author mentions that he estimates the $200 model makes up 50% of the sales based on the ASP of $280.  So unless the non-kinect $300 wasn't selling anything, then the Kinect models were well under 52%.

Another example would be the French numbers we got from Microsoft.  300k to the end of December and 20k in the 3 months after.
In November and December there were 238,685 360 units sold.  Compared to 300k Kinects.  Disregarding standalones, that'd be 126% of hardware being bundles (obviously plenty of standalones)
In January to March there were  115,777 360s and 20k kinects.  That would be 13% of hardware.

Is this going to get an update, looking at Barozi's chart it looks like kinect sports and dance central did over 600k each. pretty good since they both had sequels.
