Please list all these multiplatform games that sold better on ps3 so i can list three times as many multiplatform games that sold better on the 360.
What a lot of people seem to be forgetting is that batman AA launched simontaniously with the ps3 slim launch, after which the ps3 outsold the 360 in every region including America by huge amounts throughout most of the holidays. While we don't know who will win these holidays I think we can all agree that sales will be a lot closer than during the holiday months after the ps3 slim launch.
I'm not saying 360 version will defenitly sell better, but at least initially, sales will be much closer between the two platforms than the previous game. Especially since the ps3 version doesn't have exclusive content that I know of.
| d21lewis said: I nabbed Batman AA for the PS3 based solely on the Joker DLC. I planned on grabbing Arkham City for the PS3 because I don't want to split the series. But then, I saw that Wal-Mart is giving away free Arkham Asylum with the purchase of Arkham City. I don't know which way to go. I started a replay of AA last night and noticed that there were a bunch of "making of" and videos on the disc. Any word on whether the PS3 Arkham City will have anything like this? On topic, I think the 360 version will win this time. Uncharted 3 will release shortly after (though this didn't hurt Arkham Asylum with U2....) and, in the Americas, the 360 install base is HUGE. Batman is a worldwide property but he's our biggest fictional character. With no exclusive DLC, I think 360 will take it this time. |
Wal-Mart is giving away Batman Arkham Asylum for free if you buy Batman:AC?
Do you have to buy it day one and do you know if the Batman AA will be the GOTY version with the Joker DLC?
Also, is this for certain Wal-Marts?
I would say PS3 but the margins between the two will be slimmer this time something like a 49%-51% split
Xbox 360. Why? Because I'm buying it for my Xbox 360 this time and not on my PS3
