The only reason why the first one sold better on PS3 is because of the exclusive Joker DLC that Sony had. This time around there is no exclusive DLC for Sony. Also with the reviews that came out yesterday i expect the X360 pre-order numbers to have a huge boost for it's final week. (More so then PS3 because of the US userbase difference)

Plus in Europe they have the bundle which should keep things close over there, especially with the UK being in 360's favor. The bigger the game and more hype it gets the more it favors the X360 crowd.

I nabbed Batman AA for the PS3 based solely on the Joker DLC. I planned on grabbing Arkham City for the PS3 because I don't want to split the series. But then, I saw that Wal-Mart is giving away free Arkham Asylum with the purchase of Arkham City. I don't know which way to go.

I started a replay of AA last night and noticed that there were a bunch of "making of" and videos on the disc. Any word on whether the PS3 Arkham City will have anything like this?

On topic, I think the 360 version will win this time. Uncharted 3 will release shortly after (though this didn't hurt Arkham Asylum with U2....) and, in the Americas, the 360 install base is HUGE. Batman is a worldwide property but he's our biggest fictional character. With no exclusive DLC, I think 360 will take it this time.

After finding out Arkham Asylum's sales, I would have to say the sales would favour the PS3 version.

I reckon the 360 might grab it this time.
