I've been very lucky with "Home" teams this year. In football both the Lions and Bills are showing immense improvements over last year, while on the ice the Sabres, Leafs and Red Wings are putting on spectacular performances early on in the season. In the case of the Leafs it doesn't mean much (anyone remember last year? ) but I'm glad to have some places close to home to cheer for.
Toronto vs Colorado tonight should be a treat.

Go Bills! Boo Detriot! :P XD
The Red Wings have managed to win all four of their games and most of them against the northwest division, they seem like a team that always is good. I am a little surprised since they have not added many good players recently and have lost a lot of their veterans. I don't even want to think about starting out good then falling as the avs did the same last year. Did Toronto add many players or is it the same team.
Colorado Vs Detriot will be an early test for both clubs to see if they are ready to stand with the elite. Other than last game Colorado has had graet goaltending and the defense is bigger and tougher then last year. The avs have started scoring a lot too with it being spread greatly throughout the roster. This is a good sign as scoring should never be left up to one or two players or just the top two lines. I cannot comment on Toronto, but as the are undefeated they make me a little nervous as my team faces them.
Colorado have beaten three Eastern teams in a row :), hoping they make it the forth tonight.
